"it works wonders and good for outdoor use especially if you don't electricity to do your work"

Power's out. The shelf still needs cutting.

A 21V cordless jigsaw for curves, straight cuts and bevels in wood, with no cord and no plug point to find. Cut in the garden, on the stoep or during load-shedding. Two batteries in the box, so one charges while you work.

Good for: shelves, cupboards, garden projects and craft pieces: straight, curved and bevelled cuts up to 45° left and right.

Good to know: it comes with one blade, so get a pack of T-shank blades for the material you cut most (buyers asked for more blades). The charger is a simple plug-in one, not a dock.

From our customers' reviews of this jigsaw (bought on Takealot), word for word.

In the box: 1 cordless jigsaw · 2 x 21V batteries · 1 charger · 1 blade · 1 carry case · manual.

Specs: 21V · 0-3,000 strokes a minute, variable-speed trigger · 26 mm stroke · bevel cuts to 45° both ways · 3 orbital settings plus straight · takes standard T-shank blades, quick blade change · LED light · cuts up to 65 mm deep in wood (maker's figure).

Before your first job: charge both batteries fully. Let the blade reach full speed before it touches the wood, and let the saw do the work.

Very impressed with this jigsaw. would've give 5 star rating as the product is great except the charging setup, it feels cheap and a solid base charging station would greatly improve overall feel and expectation. otherwise will definitely recommend
